Three inspiring days at Immersive Tech Week 2026 in Rotterdam!
HERIFORGE was proud to participate as a program partner in one of Europe’s leading festivals for immersive technology, where creativity, technology, and society come together to shape new realities.
Throughout the event, we shared project outcomes from stakeholders’ profiles, their needs, and technical solutions HERIFORGE is proposing. We engaged with policymakers, cultural institutions, researchers, creators, and technology innovators to explore how XR and digital cultural heritage can become drivers of innovation across Europe’s creative and cultural sectors. Through panel discussions, an interactive game-based roundtable, and conversations at the Summer Opportunity Lounge, we shared the HERIFORGE vision for building a collaborative European ecosystem around digital cultural heritage.
Together, we explored key topics including infrastructure, intellectual property, reuse, and access to digital cultural assets, while discussing how cultural heritage can evolve from fragmented collections into shared resources for creativity, education, and societal impact. It was inspiring to exchange ideas, build new connections, and discover the cutting-edge immersive technologies showcased throughout ITW, which highlighted the transformative potential of immersive media.
